What We Do

Multi Story

Over the years, we have been witness to the growing demand of self storage in urban environments and understand the need to build vertically to maximize the sq. ft. available to the owners. With our light-gauge structural framing, we are able to go down from basement levels,and above ground multiple stories.Existing building can also be converted to accommodate for a multi story self storage facility.  Our systems allow for metal siding and if that isn’t something the local jurisdictions want or allow, we are able to accommodate for other exterior finishes to be used as well. With multi story being some of the more difficult self storage projects, STL RE/CON INC. has some of the most experience in the industry across all of our field staff.

Climate Controlled Facilities

With the growth of multi story in the self-storage industry, climate controlled facilities have seen major growth as well. This not only reduces the overhead of the facility when it is “Ready-For-Rent” but also affords the tenants the security of knowing their stored items will be protected from the weather. Saving on energy cost for the life of the building by increasing the thermal performance and moisture control, increases the life of your building and satisfaction of the customer. With the metal roof systems that are typical throughout the industry, we have a long history installing insulation and vapor barriers with them. Along with the insulated roof systems, the exterior walls would also be insulated with a vapor barrier to protect the facility from the weather and create a stable interior temperature. With those, we have also installed multiple insulated metal siding and roof systems, more commonly known as IMP’s (insulated metal panel).

Single Story

Our owner began in the 1980’s with many single story facilities, this was typical for those times. The increasing structural demands along the West Coast have changed the way even the single stories are built. We have completed countless single story projects, whether it be the whole facility, buildings at the perimeter of multistory, or an add on to an existing facility.  Single story buildings can include interior climate controlled units, Enclosed boat and RV storage, or conversions of existing buildings to be utilized as a self storage building. Single Story can be a great addition for a smaller, newer builder as well just looking to get into the space at a much more affordable price than a large multistory.

Boat & rv canopies

With such an increasing demand in many regions Boat and RV storage has become one of the major markets in this industry. Many owners and facilities want to accommodate all markets in their specific region, a large one being the recreational vehicle market. These can be difficult to accommodate for, and local jurisdictions can be quite particular on how they are stored. Canopies for these regions are a great way for facilities to accommodate the ever growing need to store these toys. Canopies can also be a great way for a facility to maximize rentable space while also increasing their ability to utilize solar panels.
